UNGCNI SDG Best Practice Award to Citizens Foundation

Citizens Foundation, a Jharkhand based national level NGO working 6 states in Different sectors, bagged the UNGCNI SDG Best Practice Award to Citizens Foundation in New Delhi on Friday evening on the occasion of 12th National Convention on ‘Making Global Goals local Business’ of United Nations Global Compact Network India.

The NGO won in the NGO sector in CSR, where 45 big firms and PSUs participated in the competition. The award was given by lise Kingo CEO cum Executive Director UN Global Compact Network, a UN Organisation. UN Global Compact Network India gave the awards. The award was received by Secretary, Citizens Foundation, Ganesh Reddy.

Other recipients of the award are TCS, ITC l&T. the Jury comprised ex chairman ONGC RS Sharma, Retd IAS Bhaskar Chatterjee, ex Director AICTE and UN representatives.
