In a startling revelation, Artha Tatwa (AT) Group CMD Pradeep Sethy on Monday claimed that two Ministers in the State have taken huge amounts of money from his company.
“Two senior leaders of the ruling party in the State have taken huge amounts of money from the AT Group,” Sethy told reporters while being produced in a local court here.
When asked about the Ministers’ names, Sethy only said, “The two are Ministers in the State Government.” He refused to name them on the ground that the probe into the chit fund scam is on.
However, Sethy informed that he has told the CBI about them. “I will also tell the interrogators of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) about this,” he added.
The AT Group is accused of duping crores of rupees from people. The revelation could affect the prospects of the ruling BJD in the panchayat polls.
Sethy is currently lodged in the Jharpada Special Jail.
