On Sarhul day a special guest, Jacob, was also present in the Sarna ground Hazaribagh, watching the activities carefully and trying to know the meaning of every activity going on there during the rituals. Some enthusiastic youths were trying their best to make him understand what is going on. Jacob is from Germany and is doing research work on the tribals. Since last 15 days he is in Hazaribagh to study the life style and other activities of the society by living with them. Talking to The Pioneer he said that, “I have visited many States of India where the tribals live and on the basis of my studies I can say that the tribals are the people who really love the nature. They are not only devoted to nature but their lives are very much dependent on it”. He said that watching the nature fest Sarhul in Jharkhand will be in my memories forever.
