Sports helps promote confidence and learning to win in life. Sports plays a vital role in education. Speaking at the inauguration of a photo exhibition of pictures of sports for development at Dewas, Deepak Joshi, State Minister of School Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, said. He interacted with children and thanked UNICEF for support to the programme.
The photo exhibition was organised by Dewas district department of school education and UNICEF. Pictures were taken by youth photographers of Ansh Happiness Society.
Michael Juma, Chief UNICEF, Madhya Pradesh, sports helps promote confidence, leadership, learning in children. Sports for Development, has shown us the way and is being implemented in 100 schools in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
FA Jami, Education Specialist UNICEF Madhya Pradesh, spoke about role which sports has played in the State in helping improve education standards.
Dr Anil Khushwa District Project Coordinator of School Education, Mohsnin Khan, of Ansh Happiness Society, Sanskar Singh and Varun Namdev, four out of two photographs, who pictured images of sports for Development were present at the occasion. Anil Gulati of UNICEF Madhya Pradesh anchored the programme.
Exhibition is being running at Malhar Smriti Mandir and will go till July 1, 2017. It will open at 11 am and will close to at 8 pm.
