On Wednesday early morning SDO Aditya Ranjan along with other officials and police team makes a sudden raid on the tractors which carry sand from Barkagaon block to Hazaribagh town.
At about 4.30am SDO Ranjan and other members of his team reached Khapriyawan village situated about 8 km away from Hazaribagh town on Hazaribagh-Barkagaon road.
The team stopped the tractors carrying sand and started checking the papers of the vehicle, driving license and revenue receipt of purchased sand. Most of the tractors were found running without proper papers of the vehicle and no one produced the revenue receipt of sand purchased from the ghats. Most of the drivers were found driving the vehicle without any license.
All the tractors loaded with sand were seized by the team led by SDO Ranjan.
He said that now thorough enquiry will be made about the owners of the tractor and the spot of the rivers from where they had stolen sand.
