Showcasing the grooves of Salsa dance the dancers gave scintillating performances on Sunday marking the conclusion of the Salsa dance workshop.
Notably, the workshop was organised by Alliance Francaise de Bhopal as a part of their latino Week the workshop was much fun for the aspirants. Besides, the Indo-French cultural institute organised the workshop to let the Bhopalites learn about the latino culture and its art.
Conducted by Salsa instructor Vaibhav Nema of Vaibhav Nema Dance Company, Mumbai the workshop was all about Salsa moves. On Sunday the workshop concluded and the participants gave presentations to mark the conclusion of the workshop.
It is to be noted that the workshop began on July 14 and was held only during the weekends. All through the workshop, the participants learned the basics steps of Salsa dance form. They were made acquainted with the Salsa forms of Germany and Spain.
Moreover, the catch of the entire workshop remained the party dance. The couple dance was yet another enthralling experience for the participants. The participants showcased the elegant body language which is a major criteria of Salsa.
The flexibility and the moves blended with musical tunes forms the essence of the dance form. It was was beautifully presented by the participants leaving the audience mesmerized.
Vaibhav while telling about the Salsa form said, “This is a professional dancing style. Though anyone can learn it but it takes a lot of practice to get professional in Salsa. But Bhopalites participated enthusiastically.”
