A total of 84 industries approved through Single Window system have invested Rs 2,85,080.13 crore and created 1,74,254 jobs in the State by February 2017.
Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra informed this in the State Assembly in response to a question of Congress MlA Kailash Chandra Kulesika on Thursday.
The Minister informed that the Industries Department approves all proposals worth over Rs 50 crore through the Single Window system. Proposals relating to health, tourism, mines and steel and energy generation come under the Industries Department.
The proposals which are under Rs 50 crore come under the DIC/RIC of the MSME Department, he said.
