Irregularities in loan to the tune of Rs 13 crore in the Sundargarh District Credit Cooperative Bank limited (SDCC) have come to the fore after audit and proceeding is made against four officials, said Cooperation Minister Surjya Narayan Patro.
He was replying to a question by Rourkela MlA Dilip Ray in the Assembly on Wednesday.
According to Patro, 34 lAMPs and 32 Workers’ loan Cooperative Societies are functioning under the SDCC Bank limited.
According to the audit findings, the irregularities in sanctioning of loan to the tune of Rs 13.8 crore are found against the CEO, two officers and a former Managing Director of Hemgiri lAMP.
A former CEO also faced bungling charge of Rs 11.71 crore, informed the Minister.
