Madhya Pradesh East, Central and Western power distribution companies are making intensive efforts to recover outstanding dues from the consumers. Power company’s employees and officials are going door to door for recovery of dues. Review meetings are taking place in all the circle offices and the efforts on ground level have also been increased to recover dues.

All the field officers have been instructed to recover pending dues and to apply C-form and confiscate property under land revenue code. The power companies have also instructed to speed up recovery in the cases registered by the vigilance department. Instructions have also been issued that the connections that have been disconnected should be checked in the night so that the consumers could not use them illegally and if any of the consumers is found of using electricity illegally than action should be taken against him under section 138 of the Electricity act 2003.

The companies have told the officers and employees to work with the spirit of team to achieve the target. Besides the Companies have called on the consumers to pay the pending dues by due date and not use electricity illegally else action would be taken against them.

The Companies have also asked the consumers that to get off the action of disconnection of their power connection they should deposit the electricity bills within time.

The Companies have also instructed the area officers to speed up the revenue collection and that comprehensive arrangements should be made in urban divisions, transmission and distribution divisions for collection of revenue.
