Govindpura police on Friday claimed to have solved the suspicious death of a 22-year-old. There were two angles of the story. One was that: The victim shot himself and the other was that: one of his frinds shot him dead accidentally.
The accused were identified as Zuber Khan (19) of Bhind and Aman Singh (20) of Govindpura. The third accused is deceased’s minor friend.
Unfolding the death mystery, police said that the deceased Manu alias Priyanshu Soni (22) along with his friend came to the city to meet his friend Shubham Soni in Gautam Nagar where they had liquor with his friends during which he took a country made pistol and pointed at Zuber and while Zuber tried to snatch pistol fearing it might hurt it fired and injured Manu and Aman and later Manu died while Aman was injured in his shoulder. Aman helped in removing finger prints of Zuber and kept the pistol in Manu’s hand and told the police that Manu committed suicide.
A motorbike without registration number, one country made pistol and one used and one cartridge. The police registered a case under Section 304, 201, 34 of the IPC and section 25and 27 of Arms Act against Zuber Khan, Aman Singh and minor friend of Manu.
