Palamu MP, MlAs raise issues in district meeting

The District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Palamu MP BD Ram  at training hall of collectorate. In the meeting, Ram directed the EE of building division to submit explanation regarding 45 works allotted to the engineer Nijamuddin.

MlA Satyendra Nath Tiwari raised the question of about 45 work orders allotted  to the engineer Nijamuddin for preparing estimates. The MP also directed the EE PHED to prepare short schemes for water supply. He suggested preparing an estimate for water supply from Panda and Domani River.

Daltonganj MlA Alok Chaurasiya alleged Building Division EE of working on his own and ignoring him. The MlA said that EE did not invite to the local MlA in foundation laying and inauguration ceremony.

Bhawnathpur MlA Bhanu Pratap Shahi said that middlemen have taken illegalamount of Rs.1600 from each beneficiary in a particular scheme.

Garhwa DC Neha Arora, DDC Jagat Natayan Prasad and other officials attended the meeting. The MP ordered a probe regarding bribery charges on middlemen. District Board Chairman Vikash kumar, Nagar Council Chairman Pinki Keshari, District Board members and all departments officials were present.
