The Orissa Krushak Samaja (OKS) and the ICAR-CIFA jointly observed Akshay Tritiya in Rajasa gram panchayat under Balipatna block in Khordha district on Saturday.
OKS president Dr Purnachandra Mohanty presided over the programme inaugurated by CIFA Director Dr JK Sundray. Siksha O Anusandhan University Chancellor Dr Khageswar Pradhan inaugurated a eye camp on the occasion.

While Pradhan said there is lack of public awareness in the State regarding agriculture development, Dr Mohanty stressed on establishment of small cold storages for storing of farm products.
Among others, ICAR Scientists Dr Arun Kumar Sahoo and Dr Govinda Chandra Acharya, Dr Priyabrata Swain, OKS advisor Prof Santosh Kumar Rout, Prof MS Husain and OUAT Forestry College Prof Trinath Maharana attended the programme.
