In a bid to decide the road ahead to be taken to transform the Capital City into a developed city, a meeting was held in the joint chairmanship of Nodal Officers, Secretary of Building Construction and Revenue department to discuss the vision document of 2022.Ranchi is among the 115 cities chosen by government for a total development till 2022 by the Govt. of India. A vision document has to be drafted in this concern.
Secretary of Revenues and land Reform, KK Soan instructed the Road Construction department to make plans which will make roads not only in urban area but will be covering panchayats, blocks and villages. Soan, stressed on the verification of achievements and statistics related to medical facilities. “Agriculture and water resources are districts’ priority”, Soan added. He instructed the Agriculture Progress Officers to look into the system to provide every facility available to farmers and stressed on Sweet Revolution and Floriculture.
Nodal Officers assured to work with aim of eliminating existing problems. They told that the programme shouldn’t be hindered due to unavailability of resources. The officers present noted; the development is only possible when there is a layout for utilization of available resources to the fullest.
Soan instructed to officers present to improve the infrastructure of every office and institution and assured co ordination from Building Construction Dept. to renovate buildings at every level. He told that reports and statistics should be verified before submitting to the govt. as it may go to public for cross verification.
Deputy Commissioner, Manoj Kumar said, “It is important to give every detail to the govt. attached with Vision Document so that it can plan the course of action.” “As agriculture is the priority of government therefore the agriculture dept. should give their plan of action till January 3. Other sectors can give their plan till January 10 so that a good plan can be sent to govt. on January 15,” he added.
