MP players bag gold and bronze medals in Delhi Equestrian Championship 2017

The players of Madhya Pradesh continue to present an outstanding performance at the Delhi Equestrian Championship 2017 being held at New Delhi.

The players from Madhya Pradesh have bagged gold and bronze medals during the championship.

While showcasing a wonderful performance under Jumping Top Score Event, Raju Singh Bhadauriya of Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy won gold medal. Similarly, Sagar Tiwari and Ajay Jhala won the gold medals giving a spectacular performance under Young Rider Team Event.Raju Singh Bhadoriya while giving a tough competition under Jumping Fault event won a silver medal.

It is to be noted that the Delhi Equestrian Championship 2017 began on March 26 at New Delhi. As it is national level championship, around 1800 players from across the country have participated in it.

Notably, as many as 13 players from Madhya Pradesh including nine male players and four female players participated in the championship. All the players are coached by Captain Bhagirath of Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy.

Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yoshodhara Raje Scindia expressed her deep contentment on the outstanding performance of the players. She congratulated the winners and said that the players should continue presenting such great performances in various competitions.

Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Upendra Jain also congratulated the winners. Notably, the championship will be played till April 8.

Meanwhile, Satyam Bhatele player of Madhya Pradesh Fencing Academy has been selected for the World Championship.

He will showcase his talent of sword fighting during the world championship to be held at Bulgaria on March 10.It is to be noted that Satyam showcased an outstanding performance at Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship held at Thailand and hence was selected for the World Championship.

Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated Satyam for his achievement.It is to be noted that Satyam is receiving training at Madhya Pradesh Fencing Academy for past three years under coach Bhupendra Singh. He has also bagged four medals in national championships including gold medal, silver and bronze.
