A seminar under Mission Sarvodaya, a Dehradun Police initiative aimed at involving the communities to crack down on cyber crimes, crimes against women, drug menace and others, was held at Police lines in Dehradun on Thursday. College/school officer bearers and drug de-addiction centre operators aside from the representatives of self- help groups attended the seminar. Speakers dwelt on the ill- effects of drugs. Former director general of police Aloke Bihari lal, deputy inspector general Pushpak Jyoti and Dehradun senior superintendent of police, Sweety Aggarwal were among those present at the seminar.
