A Malaysia-based organisation, Yog Shakti Organisation, in collaboration with the Buransh Retreat, has organised an eight-day Yog Shakti Retreat in Kausani. The event organisers claim that the event is the first of its kind to be held in Kausani.
Buransh managing director Threesh Kapoor states, “Kausani is among the most famous tourist destinations of Uttarakhand but as far as cultural activities are concerned it is never preferred despite promises by government organisations.”
Eighteen students from Norway, France, Sweden, Singapore, Japan, England and China are attending the Yog Shakti retreat to deepen their knowledge and practice of Yoga and meditation in a conducive setting.
