Haryana Chief Secretary, DS Dhesi on Thursday directed the Administrative Secretaries of various departments to make all the industrial services online by April 30.
The Chief Secretary, who was presiding over a meeting on Ease of Doing Business Reform Action Plan-2017 with Administrative Secretaries of various departments concerned here, directed them to provide real-time interface to Single Window System by the stipulated date.
He said that the departments included under the action plan would implement all the action points for reforms by May 20 this year.
He also directed that all departments would appoint the nodal officers not below the rank of Additional Director, and would share the names and coordinates of the officers with the Industries Department by April 5.
The Chief Secretary also lauded the efforts of all nodal officers towards implementing the changes suggested by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India, for ease of doing business. As a result of these efforts, Haryana has secured sixth rank in the Ease of Doing Business Index in 2016, which is a significant jump from 14th rank in 2015, said he.
During the meeting, it was informed that the Forest Department is in process of notifying forest land and provide exemption from permission for cutting of trees.
