Keonjhar District Planning Committee (DPC) Chairman Hrushikesh Naik held a review meeting of development work in Joda block on Saturday.
Naik held discussions with Government officers about implementation of different programmes like Indira Awas, PDS distribution, mid-day meal schemes, Chattu and egg distribution in the Anganwadi centres.
Naik also wanted to know from the representatives of mines owners about the CSR activities undertaken by the local mines in the area and advised them to look after development of drinking water, health, education and environment of the affected area.
Among others, Zilla Parishad President Kamilini Patra, VP Akshaya Kumar Sabu, Barbil Municipality Chairman Dilip Kumar Mishra, Joda BDO Arun Kumar Mallick, representatives of SAIl, Tata Steel, DR Patnaik, Sirajuddin and Company, KN Ram, KJS Alluwalia, Rungta and Jindal.
