Job fairs will be organised at Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in loharu and Yamunanagar in Haryana on January 8 and 10.
Skill Development and Industrial Training Minister, Vipul Goel on Saturday said only permanent residents of Haryana who had passed out of ITIs or candidates registered under the ‘Saksham Yuva Scheme’ of the Employment Department, would be invited at these job fairs.
Principals of ITIs have been directed to properly investigate background of the private establishments before inviting them to these fairs and invite only authorised representatives of such establishments. No money should be charged from candidates in the name of registration, and medical and private establishments should also be advised not to do so. Private placement agencies should not be invited at these fairs.
Goel said the principals had also been directed to invite maximum number of private establishments for selection of candidates at these jobs fairs. Once the fair concludes, they should collect the final list of selected candidates from private establishments and send these to the directorate, he added.
