The sleuths of Income Tax Department on Tuesday carried out survey on the premises of a Director of Singhania Buildcon Group and Hotel Babylon Group in Raipur.
The survey was carried out under Section 133 (A) of Income Tax Act, officials informed here.
The team comprised of 200 officials along with several police personnel who raided the properties of both the Groups in 12 locations in the city , officials said.
Survey was carried out at seven places at the office and residence of Singhania Buildcon including its head office located at Harshit Tower in Raipur, they added.
Another team had conducted survey at several locations of Babylon Group including Hotel Babylon International at VIP Road and Hotel Babylon Inn at Jail Road besides the residences of the hoteliers, officials said.
