The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Bhopal branch organised a ‘mega career counselling programme’ here on Thursday at Sarawati Shiksha Mandir, Sharda Vihar.
The programme was organised for the students who want to pursue Charted Accountancy. As many as 800 students and teachers from various schools of the city participated in the mega career counseling programme.
The programme began traditionally with the lighting of the lamp. This was followed with the prayer song and after it the interaction session began.
Notably, the purpose of the programme was to update the students about the Chartered Accountancy profession and encourage them to enlighten there career in the Chartered Accountancy profession. The counseling was usually organised to make the school students familiar about the new CA course and various stages of this profession.The first session of the event was addressed by CA Anshul Agrawal. He said that chartered accountants are the doctors of accounts as he knows every bit of it. He knows what went wrong where and what went right. He also explained the opportunities in various segments of commerce.Another speaker CA Navneet Garg spoke on scope of CA and explained the students about opportunities in Chartered Accountancy profession. During the programme students asked their queries of the students about the career and CA course which were addressed by experts.
During the programme the Principal of the School, Senior Chartered Accountant CA Rajesh Jain, programme coordinator CA Piyush Chatar, Bhopal Branch Treasurer CA Saurabh Shrivastava, speakers and managing committee members of Bhopal branch CA Anshul Agrawal and CA Navneet Garg were present.
