Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel on Tuesday said talks were on with the Amazon, Ebay and Alibaba, the leading companies in the global e-commerce sector to expand the trade of industries related to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
Apart from this, the State Government would soon unveil its MSME policy, the draft of which has already been prepared, said the Minister while addressing the inaugural session of MSME Sammelan held at Panchkula.
He said such industries would be able to get them registered with these companies free of cost and sell their products directly to the consumers.
Goel said the Government had also issued a notification for the regularisation of industries set up even in the non conforming zones provided 70 per cent industries have been set up in that zone.
A sum of Rs 248 crore has been released for revamping various industrial areas of the state and for the remaining such areas, a survey is being conducted so as to resolve their problems, said he.
On the occasion, Secretary, Union Ministry of MSME, KK Jalan suggested the State Government to set up non-banking finance companies for providing the facility of finance to MSMEs at lower rate of interest.
Apart from this, he also suggested to set up a separate entity in the government for promotion of small businesses. He offered Haryana, all support of Central Government in setting up of Technology Centres and starting skill development courses in the state.
Earlier in his welcome address, Principal Secretary, Industries Sudhir Rajpal informed that it was for the first time when such a huge MSME sammelan has been organized at State level.
