Haryana grants recognition to 2,092 private schools

In a major relief to the private schools awaiting recognition, Haryana Government has decided to grant recognition to 2,092 private schools in the State upto March 31, 2018.

Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma said that Chief Minister Manohar lal has approved a proposal in this regard.

Sharma said that apart from this, the Chief Minister has also accorded approval for the re-constitution of District level Committees for granting recognition to private schools.

The State Government has also decided that no school would be allowed to run as unrecognised from the next academic session 2018-19 starting from April 1, 2018 and any act contrary to provisions of the rules will invite appropriate action under the Rules.
