Cabinet Minister and Congress candidate from Haldwani Vidhan Sabha constituency, Indira Hridayesh appealed to the people to vote for the Congress in order to facilitate development–oriented work in the State.
During a gathering at Damuvadhunga Ambedkar Park, Hridayesh pointed to the various development works she had facilitated in the constituency segment during her five-year tenure so far.
Getting several kilometres of roads constructed, approval and construction of three tube-wells to resolve the water supply problem in the area was followed by network of pipelines being laid to supply water to the homes of people with electrification also being done all around all the roads, she averred.
She also spoke about the various welfare measures taken by the Government in the interests of the children/students and women. If elected to represent the segment in the Vidhan Sabha, she would ensure further development of employment generation programme and enhancing health facilities with construction of mini-stadium apart from employment generation through the cooperative model.
Taking development-oriented policies further during the next five years, if elected to govern, the Congress will develop Uttarakhand into one of the leading states, claimed the Congress candidate.
