The Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday caught Gocha gram panchayat Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) Sonali Kumari Sahu red handed while accepting bribe of `1,500. Sahu was arrested and forwarded to the court.
Accused Sahu had asked complainant Bideshi Nayak of Jatrama village under Sorada police limits for the bribe to process muster roll online for Nayak to avail bonus under PMAY.
As the complainant is a Schedule Tribe (ST) having a job card and was allotted with a house under Pradan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) 2016-17 for `1, 30,000, he was entitled to get additional benefit of `16,530 as bonus after completion of the required house.
