Amidst controversy over tempering of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), chief minister Yogi Adityanath, on Saturday gave new abbreviation for the EVM, claiming that it stands for `Every Vote Modi’.

He said that many welfare programmes have been taken in the State and various steps have been also taken by him to maintain law and order condition in the State.

“My government will strictly impose the rule of the law and anyone who could not follow it is welcome to leave the State’,  Adityanath said to send a strong signal amongst the workers and his supporters as well as to general public that no compromise will be made is anyone would take law in his hand.  CM said that his government will ensure full safety to women and girls and that anti-romeo drive is just a beginning in this regard.

He said that more new sugar mills will be opened in Eastern UP and hosts of welfare schemes will be launched soon for the people of the region as well as for the entire State. Besides, he also claimed that the people living in urban areas will be provided 24-hours power supply.
