A musical concert ‘Ek Shaam Rafi Ke Naam’ was organised at Campion School Auditorium in the memory of a legendry playback singer of Bollywood Mohammad Rafi.

Here on Sunday eve, ‘Ek Shaam Rafi Ke Naam’ was organized that made the audience go back in the times of old memories. The concert presented a tribute to the legendry singer of Bollywood and an evergreen personality of the industry Mohammad Rafi.

It is to be noted that the event was organised to mark the death anniversary of the legendry singer. His death anniversary in on July 31.

The singers Imran Akhtar, Akhilesh Tiwari, Prabhat Shrivastava, Anirudh Saxena, Navneet Warya, Palchin Joshi and Jyoti Dubey presented most famous songs of Mohammad Rafi. They presented both solo songs as well as duet songs before the Rafi lovers.

The performance enthralled the audiences by playing the old songs. The singers presented songs like ‘Aaj Ki Raat Mere’ from the movie Ram aur Shyam and filmed on Dilip Kumar leaving the visitors mesmerised. Other songs like ‘Deewana hua badal’, ‘Mera Mehboob Aaya Hai’, ‘Badi Mastani hai Meri Mehbooba’ and ‘Oh Haseena Zulfo Wali’ made the audiences enjoy the ambiance of golden time of Bollywood.

The concert was followed with the songs Wadiyan Mera Daman, Pehla Pehla Pyar, Chaudvi Ka Chand and many more. The programme was made emotional with one his famous tracks Tum Muhje Yun Bhula Na Paogey.

The concert was much enjoyed by the audiences and many people took the pleasure to go back in the old times. The audiences were awestruck by the performance of the artists. The songs took the audiences back in the era of black and white movies.
