Krushna Chandra Das alias Kuni, an associate of mafia don Dhalasamant brothers, was interrogated by a team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) here in connection with his dubious bank transactions with the mafia brothers.
According to reports, Kuni went underground soon after the brothers were arrested by the Commissionerate Police in January 2016. Police nevertheless raided his house and seized several arms and ammunition from him.When Kuni surrendered before a court here and was granted bail in March this year, the city police had intimated the ED about the huge assets in his possession. It is believed that the Tuesday’s ED interrogation was a follow-up action after police intimation.
