Former Assembly Deputy Speaker Rama Chandra Panda, who joined the BJD recently, made a door-to-door campaign along with former Ganjam block Chairman Surath Pahan in several villages including Bhuan-Bhuin and Barapalli under Poirasi gram panchayat in Ganjam block on Sunday.
Panda told the people that for the State’s development, a stable leadership and a stable Government are the prerequisite which the BJD fulfills. Panda urged upon the voters to exercise their franchise in favour of BJD candidates.
Villagers took their Panda and the local Zilla Parishad candidate in a procession. It may be recalled that Panda had initiated a lot of development works including two bridges for the people of these two villages during his tenure as the Deputy Speaker.
