The Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation ltd (CSIDC) awarded civil works for two Centrally funded schemes valuing Rs44.40 crore at exorbitant rate simply based on two price bids at first call and without assessing the reasonability of rates properly resulting in avoidable extra expenditure of Rs5.19 crore, CAG has observed.
The Government of India (GOI) sanctioned in March/August 2015 the infrastructure upgradation scheme for Urla and Sirgitti Industrial Areas of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation ltd under the ‘Modified Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme’ (MIIUS), it observed.
