Activists of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and displaced force of Bokaro Thermal unit here on Thursday took out a procession and held a demonstration in front of the DVC Bokaro Thermal plant gate to pressed for their demands.
Alleging that the DVC management had failed to fulfill any of the promises, Displaced Force secretary Brij Kishor Singh gave a representation to the Chief engineer and project and Dy General manager seeking to discuss then in the meeting and resolved them. Thursday’s agitation was to press for the same .
According to DVC displaced force secretary Brij Kishor Singh, their demands included there is an immediate request for the workers from the company namely M/S Samantha, Sulabh International and Annual maintenance contract to recruit them with immediate effect. The management should introduce and listed in the work order of the AMC so that the corruption can be put on hold.
Protesting against the apathetic attitude of the DVC ,Bokaro Thermal towards providing jobs to them in M/S Samantha Co ,Sulabh International and AMC and took out the procession in support of their demand .Carrying banners and posters in their ands ,many people including hundred women gathered at the plant gate .While addressing the gathering ,trade union leader lakhan Mahto said they had taken out the procession in the daytime because the present management had completely tuned a blind eye towards their issues and was unable to see their demands even in necessary to break the laws .
