Three men and two women were nabbed for their involvement in killing two persons including a woman at under construction Galaxy City Colony on March 26; two were murdered after they were found in illicit relationship, said SP Bhopal (South) Siddhartha Bahaguna while speaking with media persons on Thursday.
SP Bahaguna said that Amrawati’s husband killed her when she came to know about her illicit relationship with the other deceased Guddu alias Balachandra.
The five accused are Gendalal, Gulabwati alias Gola (32), Bhuri Bai (40), Golu alias Ganesh Yadav (38) of Shahpur and Bacchu Prasad (40) of Betul.
On the night of the incident the deceased Amrawati had gone to meet Guddu alias Balachandra along with her two friends Gulabwati alias Gola (32), Bhuri Bai (40) to keep an eye but the two reached the terrace of the building and found the Amrawati and Guddu in compromising position and asked Amrawati to return home but Guddu opposed and threatened the two which alerted Gola Bai’s husband Ganesh who reached the spot and infuriated over the illicit relationship attacked Guddu with a iron rod in his head and later with the help of his friend Bacchu pushed Guddu from terrace which lead to his death.
Feared of Guddu’s death the four took Amrawati to her husband Gendalal and after he came to know about the illicit relationship he attacked her with an iron rod in her head several times which caused her death. Police said that the accused tried to mislead the police in the investigation but later confessed their crime.
