Gunga police have booked seven miscreants for attacking a 32-year-old man at Nipania on Wednesday; victim was attacked after contract work of accused was taken by victim.
According to the police the victim Mohammad Fazil Khan of Mandideep was attacked by Rumman and his six aides and brutally beaten the victim and escaped the spot.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and was later referred to Narmada hospital where his condition is reportedly stable.
In the initial investigation police found that the victim took the contract work of transporting wheat procured at the centers to ware house and earlier the accused was engaged in the contract work which the victim took which annoyed the accused and angered accused along with his aides attacked the victim.
Police said that the victim was attacked with wooden sticks and iron rods in which the victim sustained multiple injuries.
The police have registered a case under section 147,149, 307 and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The accused Ruman went absconding and still at large.
The victim deals in warehouse construction and maintenance. On Wednesday when the victim was Sahyog warehouse at Nipania Jaat the accused reached with six others and attacked the victim injuring him severely.
The victim is undergoing treatment at Narmada hospital and his condition is reportedly stable.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary police conducted raid at Ruman’s house in Koh-e-Fiza but he was not found at his house. The search for the accused has been intensified.
