Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Spokesperson Shivratan Sharma on Wednesday welcomed the decision of Chief Minister Raman Singh to institute a judicial enquiry into the mass cow deaths in shelter houses in the State.
He criticized the demonstration of Congress party against the cow deaths and termed it as a ‘political stunt’.
In a statement, Sharma said that the demonstration of Congress party displayed wrong political intentions.
“Congress party always does politics over dead bodies, he said adding, though, the main accused Harish Verma belongs to BJP, he is a nephew of Congress leader Saroj Verma.
Harish Verma, along with his relatives Navneet Chandrakar, a member of Shagun Shelter House and Avinash Chandrakar are of a group and both work for BJP and Congress, he said.
