Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal has announced that domestic connections up to 2 KW load would be released by depositing Rs 200 in the first instance and the balance connection charges would be recovered in 12 equal installments through the bi-monthly energy bill in the state. Following this announcement, special camps in association with the gram panchayat would be organised in villages for providing on the spot domestic connection to release maximum number of domestic connections as per these instructions, said a spokesman of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam limited (DHBVNl).
He said that a written communication in this regard has been sent to all Chief Engineers (OP), Superintending Engineers (OP), Executive Engineers (OP), Sub Divisional Officers (OP), Junior Engineer-I Incharge Sub Office in DHBVNl.
