The Bhubaneswar lions Club organised installation ceremony for its newly-elected members here on Wednesday. The programme was held under the chairmanship of outgoing president Chitta Ranjan Parija.
Chief guest lions governor Brajendra Narayan Pattnaik of 322C4 emphasised on the International lions Organisation’s various social programmes and other responsibilities that are undertaken in its centenary year. Past governor Prabhat Palit installed newly-elected president Debashish Pattanaik, secretaries Kuna Kishor Das and Ranjitav Mohanty, vice-president Mahendra Patra, Milan Sahu and Rabi Kumar Patra, joint secretary Jagat Kar and treasurer Pradip Mangaraj after administering oaths to them.
Former Governor Kalpana Biswal of 322C4 announced formal entry of new members in the club. Outgoing secretary Milan Sahu read out the annual report. The programme was coordinated by lion Pradipta Mohanty and lora Mahapatra and a vote of thanks was given by secretary Kunal Das.
