The Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma with DGP DK Pandey and senior officers reached Peshrar, one of the worst hit naxal regions of the district. She chaired a review of development schemes and Peshrar Action Plan and talked to the villagers. Verma discussed all the schemes with DC, SP and other officials and told that the next 100 days are very important and we have to take it as a mission to speed up the development plans.
The Chief Secretary said, “The region has become free of naxal effects with the effort of the police. Now the civil administration has to complete the rest plans. For this the whole team should work coordinately. The construction of building works must be speeded up. The helipad should be constructed within 15 days. The DC must assure the work.”
Verma instructed that a DPR for road construction must be prepared under Social Stabilizing Technology keeping in view the geographical areas of the district. The DSE was instructed to organise camps in Peshrar herself so that no child could be deprived of education. The BDO was directed to live in Peshrar. The block office must be shifted to Peshrar from Kisko. The beneficiaries of Ujjawala Yozna must get their amounts within 10 days. All the 4100 owners and the members of Shakhi Mandals must start employment oriented and traditional works.
DGP DK Pandey assured all the officials that they should not be afraid of any event to work in these areas. The DPR of the roads of Peshrar, Chainpur, Kerar, Bulbul and Shahi Ghat have been prepared. The CS also expressed dissatisfaction on not getting the aim of Dhobha construction in prescribed time period.
Verma on the occasion reviewed the plans of education, health, skill developments and welfare plans and listened to the problems of the people. Before it she garlanded the statue of the martyr SP Ajay Kumar Singh and appealed all the officials to work with sincerity and dignity.
