Carmel Convent 1992 batch had a reunion and celebrated their 25th Anniversary event ‘let’s Talk ’92’ at Hotel Sayaji, Bhopal on Saturday.
A batch of 65 girls from all over the world and every corner of India had reminisces of their school time. The event started with Teacher’s felicitation and lighting of lamp by Mother Superior Sister Ancilla. The old golden days were re-lived by playing of audio visuals of school pictures, get-togethers, singing the School prayer, sharing memories of each other.
Sister Ancilla gave a special address and expressed her deep love and affection for the students. The then Principal Sister Regis was also virtually present from Bangalore through Video chat and addressed the gathering, the ex-Principals of Carmel Convent Sister Noel and Sister Regis also addressed the gathering. The present and past teachers of Carmel few of them who have now retired also graced the occasion with their presence, the best part was that the teachers remembered all the students.
The whole environment was glowing and blooming, emotions were gushing out as girl gathered not only from all corners of India but also from USA, Dubai, New Zealand, UK.
It all started with a small whtsapp group of 10 members which over a year multiplied into 100 members and then started the planning of the silver jubilee celebrations which culminated into the gala event today at Bhopal where 65 members participated.
