A tribal youth allegedly committed suicide at Jaridih locality here on Sunday evening and his body was found hanging from a tree. It appears that the youth took his own life with his own belt, said Radha Kumari, Officer in charge of Jaridih police station.
Soon after getting information, a team led by Radha Kumari reached the spot and recovered the body. The deceased was identified as Gambhir Marandi son of Parmeshwar Marandi belonging to Kasmar.
Radha Kumari told The Pioneer that it seems to be case of suicide though no suicide note was recovered from the spot. EOM
