BJP gears up for Mission 2019

Sunday, 30 April 2017 | PNS | Ranchi/Daltonganj

The State BJP has begun its exercise to work towards strengthening the cadres in preparation for mission 2019.

On the first day of the two-day meeting being convened at Daltonganj witnessed primary discussions of augmenting the votebase through mobilising the cadres at the booth level.

State unit president lakshman Gilua, Chief Minister Ragubar Das, former CM Arjun Munda, MPs, MlAs alongwithwith senior leaders of the party attended the close-door meeting organised at the Deen Dayal Upadhaya Smriti Bhavan here on Saturday.

The meeting of State officials and district presidents was organised where programmes of the party under ‘Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Karya Vistar Yojna’ were discussed.

State spokesperson JB Tubid said that the core members discussed at length to further strengthen the party from state level to booth level as our party is cadre-based and every one's contribution to it is most valuable.

“We have chalked out a timeframe for our party activities and within the stipulated period of time the activities are to be done that is not exceeding the upper time limit,” he said. Tubid referred to the Bhubaneswar conclave and said things are to be kept in order in our party.

About many Morchas like that of tribal, farmers minority, women, sportsmen etc it was a kind of activation for them too as all these Morchas are to toe the timeframe set for them.

Rajmahal MlA Anant Ojha said that three principle issues were discussed in the meeting. “First, it was decided that the party would be strengthened from booth level to block and district level through various programmes in the coming months. Secondly, the accomplishments of the State and the Central governments would be taken to the people of the State so that they know and understand about the changes that have been brought in the State and the country,” said Ojha.

Also, a very important part of the discussion was on how the government and the organization work in tandem so that people’s grievances could be solved at the earliest and development works could be pushed for more pace, added the legislator. The working committee meeting of the State unit will be convened on Sunday where executive workers and officials will participate.
