The BJD, which is trying to project a clean image of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to the people, is even set to insult the Constitutional process. This has been
proved by the party’s stand in the ‘Naveen Hawala Ghotala’ case, alleged BJP State vice-president Sameer Mohanty at a Press conference here on Sunday.
Mohanty said the BJP as a responsible opposition party in the State would take the ruling BJD’s unconstitutional and arrogant stand to the people’s court. The media, which is reporting
against the BJD, is being termed as a tool of the opposition parties. This is flouting the democratic process, said Mohanty.
He further said the BJD while trying to project Naveen’s clean image is not shying away from putting question marks on the judiciary of the country.
Naveen in his tenure has not only achieved absolute majority but managed to weaken the opposition parties in a well-planned manner and has never faced a strong opposition.
The BJP while taking responsibility as an active opposition party has launched a protest against the inept and static State Government. Among others, spokesperson Golak Mohapatra, State secretary Kalindi Samal and Dilip Mallick were present.
