The Bhopalites spent a mild and calm evening filled with spiritual and devotional songs that left them spellbind. One of the known devotional singers of the city Sanjay Yadav gave an enthralling performance on stage on Friday.
Sanjay Yadav’s performance marked the conclusion of Shruti Shrinkhala music festival. The fest was held at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum and had a grand closure on Friday.
The event was organised to mark the Navratri.
The audiences were totally enthralled with her performance. As she began the series of devotional songs, the audience listened to her with rapt attention and appreciated her singing. Sanjay Yadav presented devotional music along with his troupe on Friday.
Hailing from Bhopal Sanjay Yadav started his primary education in music, his father Balram Yadav and Randhir Singh Chauhan.
Sanjay Yadav started the Ganesh Vandana - Mayya Gora. It is to be noted that the entire event was based on the devotion for goddess Durga. later on he performed the songs including Mayaya Ray, Mayya Boi Baadi, Jamana pe Champa Ghanari, languria-Radha Dhund, Ghanshyam languria and many more.
Yadav was accompanied by Shubham Yadav, Santosh Sharma, Ranu Raiqwar, Bhupendra Sharma and Mahendra Singh Chauhan, in vocal. On instruments he was accompanied by Mahendra Singh Chauhan on Harmonium, Harish Vishwakarma on Dholak, Shubham Yadav on Nagara, Asharam Sharma on Manjeera, Umesh Dangi and Nitin Kushwaha, Rajesh Malaviya and Vikas Yadav.
Sanjay Yadav, presented traditional chants and songs before the audience. His performance was much loved by the audience.
