A three-year-old girl died after falling from the roof of a single-storeyed house at Sankosai under Ulidih police station area in Mango. Daughter of Anil Yadav, the victim Ritu Kumar was rushed to the Tata Main Hospital with fatal head injuries on Monday evening and succumbed to her injury this morning. The girl, who was one of the three daughters of Yadav was playing with two other children, when the mishap took place Sources informed that Ritu was playing ball along with two children of her age.
" We are in state of shock. Every day she used to play but such tragedy will take place we never thought. While falling down Ritu's head unfortunately hit with a brick and she was fatally injured," narrated a relative.
The relative said the remaining two children, including a boy escaped with minor injuries. He said immediately after, Ritu's father who runs a business of milk rushed the girl to Tata Main Hospital. Hesaid the victim survived till 9 am today, but then she succumbed to her injuries.
OC, Ulidih police statio, Ashok Paswan confirmed about the fatal fall of a three-year-old baby at Sankusai Road No. 1. "This is a case of mishap. However, we are investigating the mishap. We have registered a case after taking a statement from the victim's father Anil Yadav," said Paswan.
