The movement of three closed trains of Dhanbad- Chandrapura (DC) line has been restored via Bhojudih (TT line); railways has updated the timetable of the trains on his website.
“The movement of trains which restored via TT line are Patliputra Express, Vananchal Express and Ranchi-Dumka Intercity Express”, informed S Mukherjee Station Manager Bokaro Steel City station.
Meanwhile, approval to restore Bokaro-Howrah train has also been granted, we are waiting for railway board’s node, he informed.
Due to underground inferno traffic on DC lined was permanently closed; movement of 13 Mail-Express trains and 6 passenger trains are permanently stopped, while 7 trains are running on diverted lines from 15 June.
The trains which are running through diverted route are Howrah-Ranchi Shatabdi Express, Maurya Express, Dhanbad-Alleppey Express, Shaktipunj Express.
Now railway is also looking for an alternate route to restore six trains of DC line includes Ranchi-Jainager, Ranchi-Newjalpaiguri, Ranchi-Bhagalpur, Dhanbad-Bhubneshwar Garib Rath, Ranchi-Kamakhaya and Darbhanga-Sikendrabad trains, sources informed.
Considering the DGMS report railway is looking for Jamuniyatand-Chandrapura rout, Dhanbad-Pathardih route to continue the traffic”, sources said adding “we are also considering to restart the movement of few canceled trains (on DC line) from Bokaro Steel City station after ‘short terminating’ them”.
