Kids visit rly carriage workshop
Bhubaneswar: Participants of the Anjali International Children’s Festival 2017 visited the railway carriage repair workshop at Mancheswar. The children showed their keen interest in the working and variety of railway carriages in the workshop and witnessed practical demonstrations regarding their repairs.
FIITJEE holds CBT for 2018 JEE aspirants
Bhubaneswar: All India Test Series (AITS) conducted by the FIITJEE has given thousands of aspirants a hope and confidence to face the new online-computer-based test (CBT) from 2018 Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The institute has successfully scheduled and conducted the All India test which would provide the aspirants a simulated environment to experience and get conditioned much before the actual JEE. FIITJEE Bhubaneswar centre head Ranajoy Bardhan said, “With the change in exam format, the new online-based test is a gift for the students appearing in 2018. Similar tests will be conducted soon for JEE 2019 aspirants.”
Ujjivan SFB starts operations in city
Bhubaneswar: The Ujjivan Small Finance Bank (SFB) limited announced commencement of its banking operations at Samantarapur here with launching its branch recently. It was inaugurated by RBI GM Ashish Ranjan Samal. Among others, bank MD and CEO Samit Ghosh and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank ltd CEO Ittira Davis were present.
