DRM inspects Hatia-Argora Section
Divisional Rail Manager of Ranchi Rail Division VK Gupta along with senior officials of the Division on Wednesday inspected Hatia-Arogra Section and gave required directions related to passenger facilities. He visited two large bridges between Kurkura and Pakra and two other bridges between Pokla and Bakaspur.
Tree plantation drive at ICFAI
Students and faculty members of ICFAI University planted saplings on the university campus in Daladali on Wednesday. Addressing the students on the occasion, ORS Rao, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University advised the students not only to plant saplings but also to take care of them on daily basis so that the campus greenery is maintained.
Philately Exhibition at SBPS
Philately exhibition was held at Sarala Birla Public School (SBPS) on August 27. Various stamp collections were displayed on the school premises. The main aim of the exhibition was to connect the future generation with the old techniques of communication. Children were given information about the currencies and coins of different countries used across the world. They were also imparted knowledge about the worldwide philatelic organizations.
97 Railway employees felicitated
Ranchi Railway Division is organising different programmes during 16-31 August under which 97 personnels were awarded certificates for their contribution to cleanliness in Railway campus by ADRM Vijay Kumar. Sr DPO R K Agarwal, DME S K Mandal and APO R Sinha alongwith others were present at the occasion.
