Reconstruction of Albert Ekka Complex
Chief Minister Raghubar Das has written a letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to help in reconstruction of Albert Ekka PVC Memorial Complex in Patna. It was brought into the cognisance of the CM by ex Colonel VK Singh that the mentioned complex was inaugurated by the then Finance Minister and presently President of India Pranab Mukherjee in 1984 in memory of Paramveer Chakra recipient Albert Ekka for his gallantry in Indo-Pak War in 1971.
DRM does ‘bhumi pujan’ for ROB
DRM, Ranchi SK Agarwal did ‘Bhumi Pujan’ and work started for Rob at Bijulia near Ramgarh Station yard on Saturday. The exiting Rob at the site is of single lane having inadequate width to meet the requirements of traffic. To address the problem, Work of construction of new ROB at Bijulia near Ramgarh Railway station was sanctioned costing 16 crores. The work is sanctioned on 50:50 cost sharing Railway and State Govt and to be executed on single entity basis by SE railway. The new ROB will be of two lane width along with footpath (Total width 11.8m) to cater to heavy Road traffic.
Women AJSU for ban on alcohol
Women members of AJSU Party today organized a sit-in near Mahatma Gandhi statue in Morhabadi demanding ban on alcohol in State. They shouted slogans and reminded the government to come out of revenue greed and stop selling alcohol in the State. They pledged to launch intensive protest and campaigns across villages of the State. State women Morcha president Violet Kachhap said on the occasion that lakhs of women of the State raise voice against alcoholism and the government is now going to sell liquor, which has ruined several houses and the youths of the State.
Investiture Ceremony in Kairali School
Investiture Ceremony was held at Kairali School on Saturday. The newly elected office bearers took oath in the presence of faculty members and students. School Principal, Jacob CJ administered oath to the students and the staffs elected in the student’s council and asked them to fulfill their duty with utmost responsibility.

Members of Association of primary teachers on Saturday have threatened the State government to fulfill their all 13 demands at the earliest otherwise they go on indefinite strike bringing education system at halt. The protesters on Saturday gheraoed the CM residence and protested near Raj Bhawan with placards, banners.
