A 20-year-old student died while two others were injured after their motorbike was hit by a speeding bus near Chirayu hospital Bhainsakhedi, under Khajuri police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, three youths were injured after their motorbike was hit by a speeding bus. The incident took place in the afternoon and the injured were rushed to Hamidia hospital where one of the injured was declared dead.
The deceased was identified as Surya Pratap Singh while the two youths were identified as Khemchand and Pranav who escaped with injuries and are undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital and their condition is reportedly stable.
The three were on their way to Sehore when they met accident.
The deceased was a resident of Tikamagarh and was pursuing Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery (BAMS) from Veena Vadini Ayurvedic College at Kolar road.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the IPC and have started search for the errant driver.
Police said that a case under section 304 A of the IPC would be registered in the investigation.
Meanwhile a 40-year-old woman who was injured near Jyoti talkies square on March 21 died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital on Wednesday.
According to the police the deceased Sunita Singh was injured after she fell from scooter and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
