Sa Re Ga Ma Pa li’l Champs, Zee TV:
Season 06 is soon going to be aired on Zee TV. It is created and directed by Gajendra Singh. This season will see judges like Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya and Javed Ali. What is unique about this season is that this is the first time that schools will be representing the champs. The makers have asked the contestants to wear their school uniforms during auditions. The reason for this move is to give kids a comfort level.
Thaali: Star Plus will launch Thaali in January which will be about three sisters and their journey to make it big. The show will bring actor Shakti Arora back on TV as the male lead.
Gulam: life OK will air a new show from January 16 at 9 pm. Produced by Saurabh Tewari, Ghulaam promises to focus on the atrocities meted out to women and the rule of men in Berhampur. lead protagonist Rangeela will be played by Param Singh.
Meri Durga: Star Plus will bring to you a story of an endearing father Yashpal Choudhary, played by Vicky Ahuja, who educates his daughter Durga, played by Ananya Agarwal, against all odds.
Peshwa Bajirao: The big historical in the coming season will be on air from January 23 on Sony Entertainment Television. The show will capture the journey of Bajirao to becoming a Peshwa and a great Maratha warrior battling the Mughal empire. The cast includes Raza Murad, Manish Wadhwa, Rudra Soni, Siddharth Nigam, Anuja Satte, Pallavi Joshi.
Yeh Moh Moh ke Dhaage: Tentatively scheduled for February on Sony, this show is an unlikely love story which defies stereotypes. Ejaz Khan will make his comeback on TV as a 40-year-old villager Mukhi.
Emerald City, Colors Infinity: Already making news internationally, this series is based on the book land of Oz by l Frank Baum. It’s a dark and edgy version of The Wizard of Oz. Catch the premiere this January.
Big little lies, Star World Premiere HD: This seven-episode series is based on liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel of the same name. Shots Fired, Star World Premiere HD: This finite series will examine the dangerous aftermath of racially-charged shootings in a small town in Tennessee when an African-American cop kills a white teenager. It boasts of an A-list cast with Oscar winners Helen Hunt and Robert Dreyfus.
