NDA's presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind will be touring Southern States from July 1 to campaign for his election to the highest constitutional post.
Kovind has been visiting different states in the country to garner support for his candidature against the Congress-led opposition candidate former Speaker Meira Kumar.
After wrapping up his tour of Punjab and Uttarakhand, the NDA presidential candidate would be moving to the southern states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
Kovind would be accompanied by Union Minister J P Nadda and BJP General Secretary Muralidhar Rao. After visiting Tamil Nadu and meeting AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam, he would meet Chief Minister E Palaniswami.
On July 4, Kovind will visit Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and interact with leaders of TDP, TRS and YSR Congress. On July 5, he would be in Karnataka . Senior BJP Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu and Arun Jaitley would be with the NDA nominee there.
Kovind is expected to visit North-Eastern states on July 6-7.
